The LocalOTA Activity Marketing Network is a network of hotels, home rentals and websites in the travel industry. By joining our network, we will advertise your business in emails, worldwide search, hotel lobbies and rooms, home rentals and more, across all websites in our network!

How much does all of this exposure cost?

For activity providers: In order to join the LocalOTA Activity Marketing Network, you will need to provide a minimum of 10% discount to any of our guests that reserve a coupon. For each reserved coupon, we will charge the business a $0.50 fee. The total cost per coupon to you is:  10% or more discount + $0.50 coupon fee.

For hosts: We split the revenue from the $0.50 fee with you and deduct any funds generated from your monthly bill!


How does the system work?

When guests see your business, they can click on it and "reserve" a coupon through our system. At that time, you will receive an email notification for the coupon reservation with all of the guest's details.

Once the guest arrives for their trip, they can visit your business and display a QR Code and/or a coupon redemption text. You can scan the QR Code with any device and click the "Claim" button. Or, you can log into our extranet and type in the redemption code manually.

Once redeemed, you must provide the agreed upon discount during checkout. You can read more about our terms below.


  • Reservation Process:
    • Guests can reserve a coupon through our online reservation system after making a lodging purchase.
    • Only one coupon per reservation, per activity provider or restaurant is permitted.
    • Activity providers will receive an email invoice with the coupon and guest details.
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • Guests can cancel their coupon reservation at any time.
    • To cancel a coupon reservation, please navigate to your invoice through the MyTrips app and press the "Cancel" button.
  • No Financial Transaction:
    • Our coupon reservation system operates on a no-money-involved basis.
    • No payment or financial transaction occurs during the reservation or cancellation process.
  • Reservation Expiry:
    • Coupons are reserved for the period of your stay.
    • Coupons can not be redeemed before your lodging arrival date.
    • Coupons can not be redeemed after your lodging departure date.
    • If the coupon is not claimed by the lodging departure date, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
    • If the lodging reservation is canceled, your coupon reservations for that stay will also be canceled.
  • Coupon Redemption:
    • Guests must display the provided QR code or redemption code to the activity provider.
    • Activity providers must scan the QR code or enter the redemption code manually in order to redeem the coupon.
    • Activity providers must honor the discount percent stated on the coupon invoice at the time of checkout.


Redemption Process

Guests can present their digital (or printed) invoice at the activity provider / restaurant. The business can then scan the QR Code with a smart phone or tablet and "redeem" the coupon, making sure that it can not be redeemed more than once.
